Originally silvered, likely a contemporary forgery although curiously struck from official dies. An interesting study piece.

This type is thought to have been struck on Sicily, under Q. Nasidius, commander of the fleet, supporting Sextus Pompey against the second triumvitrate of Octavian, Mark Antony and Lepidus.
