From the ancient coinage of Spain, the obverse depicts a bearded male head facing right with the Iberian legend translating ‘TURIASU’ below; the reverse shows a horseman galloping right holding a lance.

Turiasu is situated on the Ebro river on the Iberian peninsula and has been identified as the ancient town of Tarazona in the province of Zaragoza, Spain.
