Our new listings today are from the Anglo Saxon and Norman periods, including early sceattas and later pennies.
Highlights are a good portrait coin of Aethelstan and high-grade two-line type penny from his father, Edward the Elder.
In the Late Anglo-Saxon coinage there are some lovely pennies with strong old cabinet tones and a few rare mints, check out the penny minted in Ilchester!
