This coin comes with an old auction house ticket (Dated January 2003)

Edward’s short reign lasted only 3 years, eldest son of Edgar the Peaceful and brother to Aethelred the Unready who succeeded him. He was murdered at Corfe Castle in Dorset in unclear circumstances.
