IISVPRASV
More recognisable as a distinct name on coinage of the Corieltavi is that of ‘IISVPRASV’ (‘Esuprastus’). Nevertheless, we know little about who ‘Esuprastus’ was and what his role was in reference to the coins bearing his name. Like Icenian coins, it is possible that ‘Esuprastus’ might have been a ruler, an individual of importance, an official or someone engaged in trade. Although some have drawn comparison with ‘Eisu’ of the Dobunni and ‘Esuprasto’ of the Iceni, these are almost certainly different individuals.
