Amminus, (Friends), was the son of Cunobelinus and was installed to govern Kent and his behalf. When he fell out with his father around AD 40 he fled to Rome to ask Caligula for help. This may have prompted the Roman invasion which later took place under Claudius in AD 43.
Some think that Amminus was the father of Lucullus, governor of Britain under Domitian.
