Comments
Rudd (ABC) attributes this coin to the ‘Berkshire’ tribe, whose name is now lost, who seemed to exist in Berkshire and south Oxfordshire. Rudd claims they may have had links to the Ambiani of Gaul, or the Atrebates of Hampshire. They were probably later absorbed by the Catuvellauni.
