Eppillus, or ‘little horse’ was the second of tthree rulers who claimed to have been son of Commios. Towards the end of the 1st century BC Eppillus appears to have kicked out his elder brother Ticomarus fron the Atrebates half of the Commian kingdom and to have proclaimed himself king, possibly with the help of Tasciovanos. This may, or may not, have been before he entered Kent to take control of the Cantiaci.
