Two back-to-back hollow crescents at centre, ‘eyelashes’ within, wreath projecting from each, pellet in ring crescent to each side. Horse right, solid Y- shaped head, double rein from chest to nose, wheel below.

The Iceni tribe of eastern Britain are probably the best known worldwide due to Boudicca’s exploits. Again an extensive series of silver and gold with as many as 10 individual rulers possibly named. The earliest staters are thought to be the Norfolk Wolf type coins, well ornamented and most attractive.
