Solid back -to -back crescents, row of pellets projecting from each concave side, star above, pellet triad and star below. Horse right large round head with closed mouth, pellet triad either side of phallic motif above floral sun below.

The Iceni tribe of eastern Britain are probably the best known worldwide due to Boudicca’s exploits. Again an extensive series of silver and gold with as many as 10 individual rulers possibly named. The earliest staters are thought to be the Norfolk Wolf type coins, well ornamented and most attractive.
