Boar right, long bristles topped by pellets, large ear, ‘butterfly’ motif above/Horse right, tail of plain line with adjoining line of pellets, pelletal sun above, boss below.

The only other example of this type we can find offered for sale was in 1999 when it was described as a ‘an extraordinary and fascinating type, only recently discovered and excessively rare, only one other recorded’. This is the ABC plate coin and is chipped.
